Erin Dollar
For the month of July, Assemble Gallery is mixing it up with music and art! Come see an array of useful art pieces by Erin Dollar of “I Made You a Beard” fame! Inspired by the recent resurgence of hand-printed textiles, Dollar has created a range of one-of-a-kind prints on fabric. Continuing an exploration of abstract geometric forms and repetitive shapes, Dollar uses print, collage & embroidery in her pieces. The show will include works on fabric and paper that are meant to be used in the home, such as tea towels and table textiles, as well as postcards & small prints.
Erin Dollar is an artist and crafter living in Portland, Oregon. She spends her time drawing, printmaking, reading, making fake beards, and helping to run a non-profit community print studio. ErinDollar.com.
